Quach, Tien Thuy (2020). InnovoPatch at the Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) Workshop & Competition. UNSPECIFIED.
Abstract
Organisation: Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (HGI)- University of Nottingham and its partners Our group designed the project InnovoPatch, dissolvable controlled-release patches to deliver therapeutics hypodermally. We have been developing a manufacturing process that eliminates the need to store therapeutics in fridges or freezers. Our technology can provide a cost-effective and energy efficient solution for pharmaceutical distribution, particularly to low-resource and/or extreme environments. It’s my pleasure to become the Chief Marketing Officer to plan and carry out the marketing strategy for our group business. *YES is an innovative global competition developed to raise awareness among postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers of how ideas from science and engineering can be commercialised. YES is organised in partnership with The University of Nottingham’s Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (HGI), Association of Science Technology and Innovation (ASTI), the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK), Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst (SBC) and Syngenta.
