Abstract
Information on the stability of doxorubicin and daunorubicin is available in the literature but data are limited and contradictory. In addition few data have been published for epirubicin. The aim of this study was to more clearly, define the stability of these drugs in order to clarify the literature data. Reversed-phase, stability indicating HPLC assays were developed and used to investigate the effect of pH on the rate and mechanism of degradation by construction of a pH profile for each drug.
