Abstract

The objective of this research is to assess the influence of capital and asset structure on the performance of nationalised industries in Egypt. Capital and asset structures are examined from the viewpoint of financial theory using ratio analysis techniques. There are many studies of ratio analysis in western countries, but few in command economies, such as Egypt's. Very little studies have been done on Capital and asset structure analysis.
