Alignment of Information Systems and Organisation Structure:developing an executive information systems with a cybernetic method

Abstract

This research explores, from the viewpoint of a systems analyst, the process of developing an information system, in particular an Executive Information System, aligned with the organisation’s structure by using a cybernetic method and the Viable System Model as theoretical framework.
